A quintessential millennial view on Berlin’s skateboard scene, by Manuel Bogner. It includes some Gen-z but mostly you get that romantic, 2007 type of view and we love it, we hope you do too!

A lot has been said about Patrick Bös over the years & even decades – save thing to say is that not a lot of people have skated as much as Patrick has. He won’t give up or retire because he purely loves skateboarding. He also doesn’t stop progressing while still looking enormously fit, so we better get ready for at least another decade. That’s not a threat, but more of a very inspirational way of living and keeping yourself from aging. Can’t wait to see the next one!

A film by Dennis Ludwig.

Bös is back again! Still doing the damn thing with the same excitement that the kids he teaches have for Fortnite. Except there is one big difference, you can’t beat skateboarding but Patrick sure is trying to!

He just turned 40 as well so give respect and come away with some motivation early 30’s doesn’t feel old anymore because if this is possible at 40 there are no excuses.

One of the most amazing things we get every year is a mail by Patrick Bös announcing that he has finished yet another video. Most of the time it is an actual video part and obviously with him having a fulltime job that is a feat to respect.

But this time his e-mail put our attention towards a video by a crew called “Edle Herren” (Gentlemen) and the title surmises their attitude in a great to the point way… “Es muss immer weiter gehen…” (It has to go on…) and so they did… go on.

They went to:
Köln, Wuppertal, Duisburg, Castrop-Rauxel, Lyon, Nice, Madrid & Berlin to stack some serious clips. Enjoy!

P.S.

Our personal highlight is the fakie flip heel clicker at the 2:34 mark.

You have got to respect Patrick Bös’s work ethic, being a teacher and a somewhat older skater with more responsibility and way less time than your average skater.

Patrick is showing by doing and his message is that you can keep skating at a high level as long as you want to if you manage to play your cards right.

Sometimes those who can teach!

One time ÉS Game of skate winner and legendary Cologne skater Patrick Bös just hit the internet with his newest part and truth be told it features some of his best footage to date (that last line was particularly great).

We also feel that respect must be given to the fact that Herr Bös still manages to put out good parts at a somewhat later skate age combined with a serious job as a teacher.
At the same time, we like the fact that he is an outspoken person that has been around the block and has seen trends come and go.

We suggest you give his part a watch and then read his blog

Sometimes if you don’t pay attention you might miss some good stuff, it can be the littlest thing like living on the other side of the border between Germany and Belgium, and you might miss seeing a trick that can become your new favorite move. And this video definitely sparked some ideas that we are trying out later today. So check it out and maybe it will have a similar effect on you.
