“The best Berliner skate video since Panorama.” – Unfortunately, I can’t remember who said this to me, but I found this quote really fitting when, a week ago, Dan Schulz‘ independent full length “Oh Snap” premiered at the overcrowded Cassiopeia in Berlin.

Another month another installment of Paul Herrmann’s video column. As with the last installment, this one takes us further back behind the filming for “Welcome to Franki”.

Highlight of this video is definitely Tim Thomas’s makes and fails.

A while back we premiered Paul Herrmann’s video “Welcome to Franki”, at the same time we introduced his video column for PLACE. These raw cuts are a part of that series and they provide you with a great behind the scenes look.

We proudly present the first part of Favorite Skateboard’s first full length called “Daggers”. Berlin’s Valentin Ott is one of those type of skateboarders that don’t use social media, that still own a dumbphone and rather stay away from the spotlight and therefore erroneously are very much underrated. A fact that might change for Valle with this full part!

Tomorrow it is finally time for the long-awaited (at least by us) launch of the Aus Berlin 2015 Yearbook. At the launch event, there will be an exhibition and a video premier just to spice things up just a tad bit more. So if you want to see what happened last year in Germany’s capital head over to Civilist tomorrow around 7:30PM so you can enjoy the book, the video, and the exhibition.

For those of you that want to know a bit more about the yearbook project, we did an interview with Thomas Busuttil who started the Yearbook project that you can check out here.

Friday the first of April, it sounded like a joke to us but as it turned out it wasn’t. It was the actual premiere date of the new Radio Skateboards video “Late but Short”.

We had heard stories about the last time Radio premiered a video. People arriving in limousines, streets being blocked off and inappropriate behavior only appropriate for a Radio event. “Late but Short” delivered, the video featured the entire team, friends and guests some expected and some unexpected. The whole Berlin skate and party scene came out to SO36 to celebrate the video in a way that can not be described. We will save you the details and just show you what happened. Snapshot is forever.
