One of the best things about moving through time is that you get to see things move, change, and evolve through ups and downs. Paul Herrmann has had a long and hard-fought road to where he is now as a director working for many a famous fashion house or other big brands. Still, he knows where he comes from, and who he came up with. Thus in a way, this video is an homage to all of that road he has traveled together with his friends.

it is lovely to see, it is his best work (in skating) yet and it shows that you do what you do because you love to do it. Enjoy!

James Cruickshank not only moved to Paris a few years ago but also managed to completely integrate in the parisian skateboarding community. A brilliant edit by brilliant guy featuring a lot of your favorite skaters. Definitely a must watch!

Vincent Touzery, Roman Gonzalez, Caleb Barnett, Hjalte Hallberg, Julien Kimura, Augustin Giovanonni, Tom O’Reilly, Auguste Bouznad, Jamie Platt, Paul Grund, Jun Kummer, Casper Brooker, Joffrey Morel, Gregoire Cuadrado, Ville Wester, Victor Demonte & many many more.

Our good friend Leon Moss dropped this video out of nowhere and it blew us away. He told us since he started to film for various brands and saved clips for possible future projects, he never ended up continuing to make his own videos after his “So Silly” video. A lot of footage piled up on his hard drive, so instead of letting those clips get dustier and dustier, he decided to edit this video. We had no idea he had so much up his sleeve. Amazing work Leon! We can´t wait for the next one!

Make sure to go back and rewatch Leon’s previous edits HERE.

This clip shows Kummer brothers and their crew don’t land everything first try, sometimes they might not land it at all but, they don’t half-step! Giorgi might be the closest thing Europe has to Sammy Baca, from 27 times to 2000 tries the dedication is real and the respect is earned!

Paul Herrmann has been working with us for years now and even though this is not an edit for Place we still feel close to Paul’s work. And in our opinion this is Paul’s best work yet, from the filming, the trick, spot and song selection everything works well.

Special shoutout has to go to T-Time aka Tommy Habermann who has gone the extra mile for this edit and made us want to see more.

Respect is often earned not given and even when it is due people feel like taking the easy route and put the focus on what they don’t like instead of what is achieved.

FLYTECC is a new company started by two brothers Jun & Hyun Kummer. Two skateboarders that you might know only by their Instagram handles @seoul_air & Versace_plug. For them, FLYTECC is a platform a creative outlet and this video is a big step into defining what their 2020 vision is.

Now there are 2 kinds of people, employees and employers both deserve respect but the difference is that the second group consists of people that are willing to take a risk, the risk to start something new.

We don’t feel like we need to explain the importance of family but it is important to show respect to two people who have taken a risk, are putting their vision out there and in this video even put their bodies on the line to show you something they felt needed to be seen.

A family-owned business is something we support and whatever you feel about the people involved or the level of creativity displayed it demands respect!

Lastly, we say all that but would like to add that Hyun wrote on IG that he filmed his best trick to this day for this project and after his last part that alone should be enough to make you press play.

Featuring:

Hyun Kummer, Jun Kummer, Jonte Klahr, Ike Fromm, Max Obert, Eric Erhardt, and London Lee.

This video was filmed by:

Leon Rudolph, Jun Kummer & Peter Buikema.

It is with great pride we present to you our newest video by Nizan Kasper with the support of adidas Skateboarding.

This video is almost entirely shot in the “Park am Gleisdreieck” spread through the district Kreuzberg and Schöneberg, located in the heart of the city. Shot within only a few days, we managed to catch the very last good days of the year to spend outside, just to eventually end up at the bar playing Foosball.

Did we ever tell you guys that we low-key really like Foosball? More about the topic bar sports coming soon.

Featuring: Jun Kummer, Valeri Rosomako, Tjark Thielker & Benny Vogel.

Film and edit by Nizan Kasper.

During the premiere of Leon Rudolph’s new video, somebody asked: “Why is this video called Practice?” The answer lies in the opening shot of this video.

Pressed play, still no clue? You probably don’t watch the NBA, Leon does, he got the inspiration for his newest video from a Basketball legend Allen “A.I.” Iverson.

Iverson was at the peak of his skills and got asked about his performance during practice and his response is simply legendary.

Press play and listen to Iverson’s wisdom and watch Leon’s newest video featuring People like:

Summer is in full effect and thus it is only logical that Paul Herrmann started putting out his column consistently.

Whereas his last video was filmed all over Germany this one takes place in Berlin. Similarly the last one had many people from different crews this one focusses on one crew consisting of a gang of all-star wearing youngsters.

For those of you that follow him, it must come as no surprise that Deniz Bulgurcu has a strong presence in this video. His growth is visible in almost every new clip he puts out. Deniz is one to watch.

Additionally, Paul Herrmann would like to thank Converse for the support.

Three days, that is all it took to film this video, two days it took them to edit it and today it’s out for us to see.

The people over at Seoul2k don’t like to let things sit on the shelf for too long, whether it’s tricks or product they are all about keeping it moving.

Featuring:

Julian Ruhe, Jun Kummer (@seoul_air) and Hyun Kummer (@versace_plug).

Last week the boys came to Berlin and hooked up with their friends over in our fair city to film this promo, we came with on a couple missions to see what was up, skate with them and chill out.

The edit makes it all look fun but the boys were serious about going all in and try a trick for a couple of hours which we felt was unexpected in the Instagram era. Also, we want to shout out Hyun Kummer aka Versace_Germany for finding a “normal” ollie trick that had not been done down the Kulturforum double set and doing that kickflip back smith line first try!

Enough said, watch the video!
