We are not going to lie. Standing in line at the yesterday’s opening event for the new Berlin Supreme store was an absolute nightmare and it felt uncomfortable, but we don’t want to complain all too much. The good thing about it was that we have watched William Strobeck’s “MIND GOBLIN” video 11 and 1/2 times before we could enter the location, just to get sent out again by security 15 minutes later.

All jokes aside, the team went in and it is always good to see new people skating the more known spots in Berlin. Also we would like to say that we are proud of our good friends Augustin Giovannoni & Steffen Grap who showed them around town and made them look extra good. Tyshawn Jones tricks up the stairs at Frankfurter Tor are not human.

Much success to the Berlin staff member Johannes Schirrmeister, Jun Kummer, Yannick Zhou and Anton Jäger, who will be taking care of you in the store on Torstraße 74.

adidas Skateboarding is closing their year of strong with this Paris video, To be honest, they have just the right balance when it comes to Euro – US team mates for a feat like this. Enjoy this little gem!

Side note*

Heitor looks amazing in this but where is Dennis Busenitz, haven’t seem him in a minute.

As the drifter keep on drifting further away from the shores they started at, we ask ourselves where to next?

This most recent Hawaiian edit might suggest that Jacob Harris will start to steer the ship east. Now that could be interesting!

Atlantic Drift went Pacific. Welcome to San Francisco the gentrification capital in the world Another amazing edit by Jacob Elliot Harris. If skateboarding would be an IQ test then Sylvain Tognelli would be the genius.

Feat.: Remy Taveira, Kyron Davis, Tom Knox, Chris Jones, Nick Jensen, Casper Brooker and everyone’s new favorite Mike Arnold.

Korahn Gayle, Mike Arnold, Shaun Currie, Harry Ogilvie, Josh Arnott and Savannah Stacey Keenan went to Paris and came back with some incredible footage. Notable highlights are Mike Arnold’s never-ending line and Savannah Stacey Keenan seems to be stunting on all of us by matching the perfect tricks, outfit, and spots together. Watch and enjoy!

It has been a little since Korahn has put out a part and truth be told his last couple of parts have been hard to top. This one for Grey puts Mr. Gayle in new surroundings, he did keep to true form and delivered some pretty great lines for his part with the London based Grey Magazine.

The Atlantic Drifters dive into the realm of the hippy jump with some serious contortionist manoeuvres that shouldn’t seem plausible, or even thinkable. With the most casual destruction of up, down and around. This is a game changer.

After Bobby Worrest’s “Turf Killer” part now it is Mike Arnold’s time to present himself skating his hometown spot called “Lloyds”.

We respect hometown spots and we respect the creativity it takes to make something worth while there. Mike Arnolds put in the work and came out with something special.

Great designs and a very good skate team are what Buttergoods offers us with this “short film” inspired by KRS-ONE.

Featuring:

Ben Gore, Alex Schmidt, Taylor Nawrocki, Phil Marshall, Casey Foley, Alex Campbell, Morgan Campbell, and Mike Arnold.

Jacob Harris is back again and for number four he went across the pond and into the center of the world…New York!

Featuring:

Tom Knox, Casper Brooker, Sylvain Tognelli, Mike Arnold, Remy Taveira, Jordan Trahan and more.

Each episode of this series by Jacob Harris is a cinematographic masterpiece on its own. The level of filming/editing combined with the level of skating is just too damn high. For this episode of Atlantic Drift, the crew went to the capital of France, Paris.

Featuring Tom Knox, Nick Jensen, Remy Taveira, Sylvain Tognelli, Casper Brooker, Chris Jones and Mike Arnold.

Our friends over at Grey Magazine ventured out to Marseille and shot a video and a special magazine over in the French harbor town. It features some of our favorites like Doudou and Mr. Tognelli the latter found a once in a lifetime type of spot to do a trick almost every skater would like to do at least once. Check out the video and go out and skate.

Featuring Mike Arnold, Matlok Bennett-Jones Edouard Depaz, Sylvain Tognelli and Juan Virues.

Basically, this is little more than an ISLE and friends montage that Jacob Harris made for Thrasher. Jacob is one of the most interesting guys working in skateboard video making today. He doesn’t work that much with double screens and vhs type of work instead he relies a lot on music and the mixing of style and action and he really has perfect timing when it comes down to suspense and breaking the suspense. The music in this video gives off a thick atmosphere making it quite intense but balanced because of the aforementioned breaks. To be honest the way he presents to us is truly his own and that is what makes every video Jacob makes worth a watch.

Featuring: Sylvain Tognelli, Nick Jensen, Remy Taveira, Mike Arnold, Tom Knox, Chris Jones and Casper Brooker

First off if you don’t now about Skateboard Cafe do your Googles secondly, the animations and music picks in this clip are great (more Middle Eastern music please), now let’s get to the skating. We already told you about Mike Arnold and Korahn Gayle both haven’t released a snippet of bad footage in the last couple of years. Now we want to draw your attention to the person sticking out most in this video Harry Ogilvie, the guy with the mohawk. In the Skateboard Cafe’s last two releases he has been sticking out by, his choice of spots, his tech moves in a punkish outfit and more importantly his affinity for squeezing himself through dangerously tight holes, squares, and gates. With every part, he put out it becomes more and more obvious that Harry is indeed a PLACE office favorite, click the play button to see why.
